Common questions
How far in advance do I need to book?
For weekday daytime slots, 24–48 hours is usually fine. For evenings and weekends, 3–5 days is safer. For same-day requests we’ll always try : often it works, can’t promise.
Do all your masseurs speak English?
Most do, at least conversationally. When you contact us, mention English as a requirement and we’ll match you with a masseur who’s comfortable. Spanish-speakers also frequent.
Is this a strictly professional service?
Yes, strictly professional : wellness, therapeutic, sport, or prenatal. The masseurs working with Genève Domicile follow a clear code of conduct: any request outside that scope is refused.
Can I book a male or female masseur?
Yes : preference noted in the form (or none). For prenatal, most clients prefer female; for sports, it’s mixed. We respect your choice without question.
Hotels : does it work?
Yes. We frequently visit Beau-Rivage, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Mövenpick, La Réserve, Mövenpick, and many smaller hotels. Mention the hotel name when booking.
How does payment work?
Pay the masseur directly at the session: cash (CHF), TWINT, or card. No deposit, no card-on-file, no subscription. You decide one session at a time.
Cancellation policy?
More than 24 hours before: free. Less than 24h: 50% (the masseur blocked the slot). Same-day no-show: 100%. We understand emergencies : a quick message always works.
Is it reimbursed by my insurance?
Wellness massage is not reimbursed by LAMal (mandatory Swiss insurance). Supplementary insurance plans (LCA) sometimes cover therapeutic massage or lymphatic drainage on prescription : ask the masseur for an itemized invoice and check with your insurer.
